Shorten the page you are reading, without switching tabs

The TinyLink extension brings the link shortener to your browser toolbar. The tab’s address is already filled in: pick a slug, click, and the short link is on your clipboard. Your links, their QR code and your environments stay one click away.

Coming soon to the Chrome Web Store.

A short link in two seconds

Open the extension on any page: its address is already in the field. Add a slug if you want a meaningful address, tnlnk.fr/autumn rather than a string of letters; spaces, accents and punctuation are converted just like in the app. One click, and the link is created and copied.

  • The tab’s address, prefilled
  • A custom slug, cleaned as you type
  • The short link copied as soon as it is created
  • The QR code, downloadable as PNG or SVG

The TinyLink extension open on an article: Agence Nova environment, the tab’s address already filled in, velo-de-ville slug, Shorten button and the short link copied.

All your links, without opening the app

The My links tab lists your short links, newest first, with a search. Copy an address, change a link’s destination or slug, delete the one you no longer need: all from the browser toolbar. For statistics and tags, one button opens TinyLink.

One token per environment, one click to switch

Working in several environments: yours, your team’s, a client’s? Add a token for each and switch between them from the extension header. Each environment keeps its colour, and the buttons shown follow the token’s rights: a read-only token offers neither editing nor deleting.

Share a page without copying an endless address

You are writing a newsletter, a message or a post, and the article to share has a two-line address, tracking parameters included. Instead of opening TinyLink in another tab, pasting the address and coming back, you click the extension icon: the short link is copied, ready to paste, and it shows up in your shortener with its click statistics.

Frequently asked questions

Which browsers does the extension work on?

Google Chrome and the browsers built on the same base, which install extensions from the Chrome Web Store: Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi. It is available in English and French, following your browser’s language.

Which plan do I need?

The extension connects with an API token, included in the Pro and Business plans. The extension itself is free. The plans are compared on one page.

How do I connect it to my account?

In TinyLink, open Library, Integrations tab, and generate a token on the TinyLink API card. Paste it into the extension: it checks the token and shows your environment’s name. The full steps are in the help center.

Does the extension read my browsing history?

No. It reads the address of the open tab only when you click its icon, to prefill the field, and sends it to TinyLink only if you shorten it. Your token stays in your browser and only goes to the TinyLink API. The details are in the privacy policy.

Can I use it with several environments?

Yes. A token opens one environment; add one per environment and switch from the header menu. New links land in the selected environment.

What happens if I revoke my token?

It stops working right away, in the extension and everywhere else. Your links stay in TinyLink. Generate a new token and paste it into the extension to carry on.
