Putting your menu behind a QR code
- Publish your menu online: a PDF, a page on your site, or a link page that gathers the lunch menu, the wine list and the booking form.
- Create an account, paste that address into the shortener to get a tnlnk.fr link, then click Generate a QR code and download the PNG.
- Scan the file with your own phone before sending it to the printer, then place the code on the tables, the front window and the placemats.
Generated once, printed once
The QR code is generated from your account as a 2048-pixel PNG at 300 dpi, enough for a table stand or a placemat. SVG is vector and stays sharp at large sizes; it comes with the Pro plan. The file encodes an address and nothing else: it does not depend on the menu, and goes to the printer once.
The destination moves, the card does not
Behind the code sits a short link on tnlnk.fr: a fixed address, an editable destination. Winter menu, evening service, an unexpected closure — you swap the target address in seconds. The link’s statistics count scans day by day, and separate the dining room from the window if you print a code for each. The free plan allows fifteen short links.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to reprint the QR code when the menu changes?
No. The code points to a TinyLink address whose destination you edit. Replace the PDF or the page behind it and the printed code still leads to the right place. Nothing to regenerate, nothing to stick back on.
Does the free plan QR code keep working?
No. On the free plan the QR code stops redirecting seven days after the item is created. From the Starter plan onwards it is permanent, as the pricing page sets out. Settle this before ordering printed placemats.
A PDF or a page behind the code?
A page reads better on a phone: no zooming, no download. A PDF still works if your menu is already laid out. Either way the QR code points at the same TinyLink address, and you can switch from one to the other without reprinting.
Can I see how many guests scan the code?
Yes. Every scan appears in the statistics for the link or the page, with the day, the time and the device. Two codes, one in the dining room and one in the window, compare directly.
