A name, a description, titles and links. From a page, “Import a component” places its links at the chosen position; they then follow every edit of the component. The table shows which pages use it.

Protected in the page, free in the library
Inside a page, a component’s elements cannot be edited: the block moves as a whole, in the table as in the preview. Removed from a page, the component stays available; detached, its links become the page’s own links.

An independent copy in one click to derive a block. Clicks on its elements add up in the statistics. Deletion removes its links from every page, and says so first.

What happens when I edit a component?
Every page that imports it shows the new version immediately, nothing to reopen.
Can I edit a component from a page?
No, that is what keeps it consistent. Open the component in the library, or detach it in the page to take back control of its links.
Are components in the free plan?
No. Components and page styles are reserved for paid plans.
