Frequently asked questions
Does a printed QR code change if I edit the template?
No. Generated QR codes stay as they are; the template applies to the next ones.
Does the logo get in the way of scanning?
The logo is centred and sized to keep the code readable. A scan test on the preview before printing remains good practice.
Are templates in every plan?
No. They are reserved for the higher plans; the pricing page says which one includes them.
What exactly does a template set?
A name, a description, the background colour, the module colour, the module shape — squares, rounded or dots — and an optional logo. Nothing else: no margin, no error correction level, no file format.
Does a template work across all my environments?
No. A template belongs to the environment where it was created, and is only offered to the pages and short links of that environment. The Options tab moves it elsewhere.
Can I see how many QR codes use a template?
Yes. The template list has a QR codes generated column, and the Items tab of a template lists the pages and short links that use it.
