Refund policy
Last updated: 25 September 2026
This is a translation provided for convenience. In the event of a discrepancy, the French version prevails. This policy supplements the terms and conditions of sale. It applies to all customers, individuals and businesses alike, and never reduces the rights consumers have under the law.
1. In short
- Your first paid subscription is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days, no questions asked.
- A yearly renewal charged because you forgot to cancel is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of the charge.
- You can cancel whenever you like: access stays open until the end of the paid period, which is not refunded.
- When you move to a lower plan, the unused part is deducted from your next invoice.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
The first paid subscription of a TinyLink account, monthly or yearly, is refunded in full if the request is made within fourteen days of payment.
No reason is required. The refund covers the amount actually paid, after any promotional code. No fees are withheld.
The refund ends the subscription: the account returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted; pages and links beyond the free plan limits stop being published and become visible again as soon as a plan is taken up again.
This guarantee applies once per account. A new subscription after a refund or a cancellation does not open it again, without prejudice to the consumer right of withdrawal (section 7).
3. Forgotten yearly renewal
A yearly subscription renews automatically when it expires. An email reminds you about forty-five days before the date, with the amount that will be charged.
If the renewal was charged although you did not wish to continue, it is refunded in full on request made within fourteen days of the charge. The subscription is then cancelled and the account returns to the free plan.
The renewal of a monthly subscription is not refunded.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your workspace, Subscription tab, or by email to support@tinylink.fr.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; access to paid features is kept until that date. Outside the cases in sections 2 and 3, the period already started is not refunded. A yearly plan therefore runs until its end.
5. Changing plan
Moving to a higher plan takes effect immediately. The price difference is charged pro rata for the remaining period.
Moving to a lower plan takes effect immediately. The unused part of the previous plan is turned into a credit, deducted from your next invoices. It is not paid back to the payment method.
6. Cancellation by TinyLink
If TinyLink ends a subscription for a serious breach of the terms of use, the unused part of the period is refunded.
7. Consumer rights
The commitments above come on top of statutory rights and do not limit them.
Right of withdrawal: a consumer has fourteen days from the conclusion of each contract to withdraw, without giving reasons, under the conditions set out in the terms and conditions of sale.
Legal guarantee of conformity: if the service does not work as the contract provides, the consumer may have it brought into conformity free of charge and, failing that, obtain a price reduction or termination of the contract (articles L224-25-12 and following of the French consumer code).
8. Requesting a refund
Write to support@tinylink.fr from your account’s email address, stating the plan concerned and the payment date. A simple statement is enough, for example: “I request a refund of my subscription taken out on [date].”
The refund is made within fourteen days of receiving the request, to the payment method used for the purchase. Depending on the bank, it shows on the statement five to ten working days later.
Before disputing a payment with your bank, write to us: the refund is faster.
