Frequently asked questions
What happens when I edit a component?
Every page that imports it shows the new version immediately.
Can a page diverge from the component?
Yes, by detaching it: its links become the page’s own links, and the component stays intact elsewhere.
Are components in the free plan?
No. Components and page styles are reserved for paid plans.
Can I turn existing links into a component?
Yes. In a page, tick the rows to group and create a component from the selection. They leave the page, replaced at their position by the component, which is reusable elsewhere.
Can a component be used in another environment?
It belongs to the environment where it was created and is only offered to its pages. It can be moved to another environment, but it then leaves the pages that used it.
Who can edit a component?
Members with the Editor or Administrator role. A Reader sees the components and the pages that use them, without being able to change anything.
